Start with the price difference
Cove Booking is $400/month. Twelve months of Bookeo’s listed Standard subscription totals $479.40 before extras, compared with $4,800 for Cove Booking software. A lower-cost product may be the better fit when it handles your requirements. Cove Booking has to justify its price through the workflow you will actually use.
Evaluate boats as physical inventory
Test overlapping requests for a single hull, a shared accessory, a maintenance closure and the buffer after a late return. Ask each provider to demonstrate how its configuration handles those situations. A feature label alone does not tell you how the scheduling rules behave.
Include the dock team
A booking calendar is only part of the day. Walk through departure readiness, agreement status, payment balances, inspection records and customer history. Cove Booking organizes these around the rental operation. Have the people who will use it judge the steps and the clarity.
Make the decision measurable
Write down the manual tasks you expect to remove and the time they take today. After a supervised trial, compare the actual result. Do not justify a higher subscription with assumed labor savings or features your staff will never use.
