Each vessel has its own record and availability. Configure operating hours, rental lengths, lead time and closure dates around the way your business runs. Reservations and active holds are checked against the selected boat; a booking request cannot rely on an assumed spare vessel.
Back-to-back booking slots still need time for fuel, cleaning and the next guest’s questions. Use turnaround buffers and per-boat overrides to reserve that time. When a guest requests a change, review the revised availability and price before committing to it.
A boat that needs work should not quietly remain available online. Add maintenance blocks, record damage or repair details and inspect affected reservations. The fleet workspace retains boat records and inspection requirements, while reports help you review utilization and recorded use. Those records support a decision; they do not replace a qualified inspection.
Yes. Boat-specific settings can override inherited deposit, lead-time and turnaround values. Check each vessel’s final configuration during setup.
The current booking model supports same-day rentals. Multi-day rental requirements need a separate product discussion.
