Separate your bill from the guest’s total
Cove Booking costs $400/month for software, with no Cove Booking percentage booking fee. Payment processing and agreed services are separate. If you pass another system’s booking fee to the guest, removing it changes the guest’s total; it does not automatically become money saved by your business.
Compare a full year
Twelve months of Cove Booking software costs $4,800. A 6% fee reaches that amount at $80,000 of fee-bearing online bookings. This arithmetic compares software charges only, before setup and processing. It is relevant to your direct costs only when you absorb the percentage fee. Include quiet months and check which reservations are subject to fees.
Test your fleet and sales channels
WaveRez describes a per-boat fleet calendar, maintenance blocks and reseller connections including Viator and GetYourGuide. Bring your own rental scenario to both demos: overlapping requests, a shared accessory, a late return and a boat out for repairs. Confirm each required channel; do not assume Cove Booking has the same distribution network.
Rehearse before changing booking links
Match future reservations, deposits, guest paperwork and balances to their source records. Ask each team what transfers, what stays in the old system and what setup costs. Choose after your office and dock crew have tested the workflow with your requirements.
